We know low

Through our own innovation and partnerships, we have expanded our solutions for producing low-carbon fuels – also known as blue hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol – using fossil energy sources and carbon capture and storage to make the smallest possible climate impact. These solutions are attractive low-carbon options that are available today, allowing for sectors such as oil and gas refineries, transport and heavy industry to decarbonize.

Every third hydrogen molecule is produced using Topsoe solutions. We are the world’s largest hydrogen technology licensor – this means we can deliver the best catalysts, solutions, and experience when it comes to low-carbon hydrogen production.

Leading technology

Topsoe has the widest portfolio of reforming technologies, which includes high-performing Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) solutions, and our leading Advanced Autothermal Reforming (A-ATR) mega-scale hydrogen production technology SynCOR™. With over 300 years of operational experience with SynCOR, it is by far the most mature technology on the market in its class.

Topsoe delivers an integrated low-carbon hydrogen solution comprising hydrogen production and carbon capture. In dialog with customers, we select the most suitable combination of technologies based on specific project drivers. We proudly provide fully integrated end-to-end solutions – a combination of R&D, process design, technologies, and catalysts – that equip customers with the full means of low carbon hydrogen production, under one single-point license.
